Who We Are
Precision, innovation, and prestige
BioForge Scientific exists to translate original scientific discovery into products, licenses, and partnerships. The company's identity is built on three principles — precision, innovation, and prestige — and its work sits at the intersection of pharmaceutical research, materials science, biodefense, and consumer technology.
Our founder, Daryl L. Thompson, is the author or co-author of multiple published scientific studies and holds several granted U.S. patents, with additional applications pending across antiviral therapeutics, metabolic disease, neuroprotection, antimicrobial formulation, insect repellency, and advanced materials science. BioForge Scientific is the commercialization vehicle for this body of work.
Our relationship with GRDG Sciences
The technologies in our portfolio originate largely from the Global Research and Discovery Group (GRDG Sciences, LLC), a private research and development organization founded and led by Thompson and headquartered in Winter Haven, Florida. GRDG has operated since 2010 as an independent scientific think tank focused on solving emerging global health and materials challenges.
GRDG operates outside of government institutions and is focused on developing medical countermeasures and advanced material technologies aligned with the principles of Project Bioshield, BARDA, and the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies. It functions as a scientific “Red Cell” — a fast-moving, independent team built to identify emerging problems and develop unconventional solutions ahead of institutional timelines.
